GMP Private Client is focused on capital preservation, income generation, and capital growth strategies for affluent Canadian investors. These strategies are tailored for the individual and delivered through an experienced and dedicated Investment Advisor.
We believe in accountability and transparency. This includes independent advice without the pressure and incentives to place assets into proprietary products. We have complemented GMP Securities' strong research with third-party U.S., international, and additional Canadian research to ensure many opinions are gathered to formulate our recommendations. Clients have access to all the account types and investment products through our Investment Advisors. Our client service is delivered through an experienced sales force, most of whom have in excess of 10 years in the industry.
Our products and services are driven by client investment requirements. All of our products can be customized to suit client needs and provide maximum flexibility to the client. Our tax, retirement and estate planning services are provided through a qualified Investment Advisor who will work with the client's other professionals to ensure the needs are fulfilled.
Our monthly statement reporting and portfolio reports are easy to read, can show a consolidated view of the client household, and will give a rate of return for the portfolio. In addition, clients are able to see their daily progress online, with the ability to customize views and see consolidated balances. All delivered in an easy-to-use interface.
Our philosophy is to not charge our clients ongoing administrative fees. We charge each client one fee for the year, covering all administrative costs such as registered account fees, the electronic transfer of funds, and virtually all of the charges incurred at other investment dealers. 1
